In fact, on May 19, 2023, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had announced to remove the Rs 2000 note from circulation. RBI had given time till September 30 to exchange Rs 2,000 notes. RBI had made it clear that Rs 2000 note will not be valid after September 30. In such a situation, the deadline for exchanging Rs 2000 note is about to end. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI), while announcing the withdrawal of Rs 2,000 notes from circulation on May 19, 2023, had said that from May 23 to September 30, any person can vote by depositing Rs 2,000 in his/her account in the bank. Can or get it changed.
