6th Pay Commission . After 3% increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) of Central employees of 7th Pay Commission,
now the central government has increased dearness allowance of employees of 5th and 6th pay commission. The Central Government has increased the dearness allowance by 13 percent for the employees of 5th Pay Commission and 7 percent in the dearness allowance of the employees of the 6th Pay Commission.
An order in this regard has been issued by the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance. Under the order, the dearness allowance of the employees of the 5th Pay Commission and the 6th Pay Commission of the Central Government and Central Autonomous Bodies (Public Sector Undertakings) has been increased from January 1, 2022.
According to the government order, the Dearness Allowance of the employees of the Central Government and Central Autonomous Bodies has been increased from 368 percent to 381 percent under the 5th Pay Commission.
This hike will come into effect from January 1, 2022. At the same time, Dearness Allowance of employees coming under the Sixth Pay Commission is being increased from the existing 196 to 203 percent.
Under this order, civil pensioners / family pensioners of the Central Government including the Central Government. Pensioners absorbed in PSUs/Autonomous Bodies and pensioners of Armed Forces, Civil Pensioners were paid from Defense Services.
The same All India Service Pensioner, Railway Pensioner/Family Pensioner will also get its benefit. Let us inform that the employees of Central Autonomous Bodies are given salary according to the recommendations of the Fifth Pay Commission and the Sixth Pay Commission.
Last year, the DA basic pay of employees of the Central Government and Central Autonomous Bodies (CAB) who were paid salaries under the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission by the Finance Ministry was increased from 189 per cent to 196 per cent.
According to the recommendations of the Fifth Pay Commission, the DA basic pay of the employees of the Central Government and Central Autonomous Bodies (CAB) who are paid salaries was increased from 356 per cent to 368 per cent. This hike came into effect from 1 July 2021.
