7 Important trains of Delhi-Bihar and Hyderabad cancelled for the next few days, route of some also changed; read details

Due to non-interlocking work on Prayagraj Rambagh rail section, many trains have been canceled and the route of some has been changed.

Anand Vihar Terminal-Sitamarhi Express, Jaynagar-New Delhi Express, Secunderabad-Danapur Express, Danapur-Secunderabad Express and Udhna-Danapur Express will remain canceled. The route of Patna-Ahmedabad Express and Patna-Ernakulam Express has been changed. The route of Lokmanya Tilak Terminal-Jayanagar Express and Jaynagar-Lokmanya Tilak Terminal Express has also been changed.

Due to non-interlocking work being done by Indian Railways between Prayagraj Rambagh rail section, the operation of some trains has been canceled by East Central Railway. Also, it has been decided to run some trains by changing their route.

  • Anand Vihar Terminal-Sitamarhi Express running from Anand Vihar Terminal from 9 to 11 December will remain cancelled by the Railways.
  • Jaynagar-New Delhi Express running from Jaynagar to 10 December will remain canceled.
  • New Delhi-Jayanagar Express running from New Delhi on 9th and 11th December will remain cancelled.
    Secunderabad-Danapur Express running from Secunderabad till 10th December will remain cancelled.
    Danapur-Secunderabad Express running from Danapur till 11th December will remain cancelled.
    Udhna-Danapur Express running from Udhna on 10th December has also been cancelled.
    Danapur-Udhna Express running from Danapur on 11th December has also been cancelled.

Route of Patna-Ahmedabad Express changed

  • Patna Jn.-Ahmedabad Express running from Patna Jn. on 10th December will run via the changed route Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn.-Mirzapur-Prayagraj Chheoki-Manikpur. This train will not stop at Kashi, Varanasi, Gyanpur Road, Prayagraj Rambagh, Prayagraj Jn. stations.
  • Patna Jn. Patna Jn.-Ernakulam Express running from Patna on 10 December will be run via the changed route Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Jn.-Mirzapur-Prayagraj Chheoki-Manikpur. This train will not stop at Varanasi, Gyanpur Road, Prayagraj Rambagh, Prayagraj Jn. stations.

Change made in the route of Lokmanya-Jaynagar Express

Lokmanya Tilak Terminal-Jaynagar Express running from Lokmanya Tilak Terminal on 9 and 10 December will be run via the changed route Manikpur-Prayagraj Chheoki-Mirzapur-Varanasi-Jaunpur-Aundihar instead of the scheduled route Manikpur-Prayagraj Jn.-Prayagraj Rambagh-Banaras-Aundihar.

This train will not stop at Naini Jn., Prayagraj Jn., Prayagraj Rambagh, Gyanpur Road, Varanasi, Varanasi City, Sarnath stations. The Jaynagar-Lokmanya Tilak Terminal Express, which will depart from Jaynagar on Monday, will run via the changed route Aundihar-Jaunpur-Varanasi-Prayagraj Chheoki-Manikpur instead of the scheduled route Aundihar-Varanasi-Banaras-Prayagraj Jn.-Manikpur.

This train will not stop at Sarnath, Varanasi City, Varanasi, Gyanpur, Prayagraj Jn., Prayagraj Rambagh and Naini Jn. stations.

Crowd increased in trains during wedding season, scramble for tickets

With the end of the festive season, the season of auspicious events has begun. In such a situation, the relatives living elsewhere have started reaching their homes. There is a huge crowd of people in trains these days. Crowds of passengers are seen in trains coming to Siwan Junction from all long distances including Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai.

Due to this, people are not getting tickets in trains on time and they are also seen worried about the journey. The situation is such that passengers are not able to get confirmed tickets even after trying for several days. In such a situation, they are forced to return. On the other hand, reservation tickets are full in almost all trains. Overall, passengers are trying to attend the programs by hook or crook. Due to this, there is a crowd of passengers in all the coaches of trains, be it third AC or second.
