The state government has given a big gift to its employees. Big announcements have been made on their house rent allowance and non-practicing allowance along with a 4 per cent increase in dearness allowance. 68000 employees will get its benefit.

7th Pay Commission DA-HRA Hike: The state government has given a big gift to its employees. On one hand, a 4 percent increase in their dearness allowance has been announced. Along with this, it has also been decided to increase the house rent allowance of the employees. Not only this, while making a big announcement, the CM said that now doctors will also be given non-practicing allowance. They are to be provided the benefit of this allowance under the seventh pay scale.

Increase in Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief
The Arunachal Pradesh government has announced an increase in the Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief of the state government employees as per the recommendation of the Central Pay Commission. His DA has been increased at the rate of 4%. Their DA has been increased from 34% to 38% with effect from 1st July 2022. Whose benefit will be given to 68,000 regular employees. Due to this increase in dearness allowance, the estimated annual financial burden is expected to be around Rs 120 crore. Along with this, the amount of arrears will be paid to all the employees and pensioners.

HRA benefits under 7th pay scale
State Chief Minister Pema Khandu said that employees who do not have official residence. They will be given the benefit of House Rent Allowance from January 1, 2023. This benefit is to be made available to them under the seventh pay scale. With this decision of the government, the financial burden is expected to be Rs 42 crore.

Non exercise allowance
In an important announcement, the Chief Minister said that the role of doctors is essential for building a healthy society. The government has decided to give non-practicing allowance to doctors under the seventh pay scale. Will be implemented from January 1, 2023. The estimated annual financial expenditure for this was expected to be Rs 10 crore.

Additional burden of Rs 172 crore per year on the exchequer
The implementation of all these announcements will see an additional burden of Rs 172 crore per year on the state exchequer. The government has said that the government is capable of bearing the additional burden and its benefits are to be passed on to the employees. Revenue generation has been more than doubled in recent years. In such a situation, it should be spent on the welfare of the employees.

DA of central employees was increased
Let us inform that earlier the dearness allowance of central employees was increased by 4 percent. From July 1, 2022, the dearness allowance of central government employees was increased to 38 percent. Whose 69 lakh pensioners including 41 lakh employees were benefited.
