The Finance Department has made preparations to bring the proposal of four percent dearness allowance to the state employees in the cabinet. Apart from this, the proposal of Diwali bonus is also likely to be brought in the cabinet.
At present, the employees are getting 34 percent dearness allowance and after the announcement of four percent hike, it will increase to 38 percent. The benefit of this increase in dearness allowance will be available to all government employees and pensioners of the state. In the same meeting, decisions will be taken on proposals related to various departments including housing, health, education, higher education, revenue, finance.
Bonus will also be available
In fact, every year the state government gives bonus on Diwali to government employees up to 4800 grades working in government departments. Since Diwali is in October itself and the process of getting it has started in other states, so the state government employees too Getting ready to give the gift of Diwali bonus soon. The Finance Department has prepared a proposal for this, which can be placed in the cabinet meeting today, the bonus amount will be released as soon as it is approved. About Rs 7000 can be given to the employees in the form of bonus. About 1 lakh 20 thousand of different departments will get its benefit.
