How will 46 percent be paid

If we look at the calculation from 2021, then there has been an increase of about 15 percent in dearness allowance in one and a half year.

There will be a big jump in HRA too

After the Dearness Allowance under the 7th Pay Commission, there is also an increase in HRA i.e. House Rent Allowance. However, this increase will happen after the next half year and that too when the dearness allowance crosses 50 per cent. At present, HRA is divided into three categories of cities, named X, Y, Z. Now central employee living in X city will get more HRA and employees living in Y and Z city will get less HRA. According to the city, 27 percent, 18 percent and 9 percent house rent allowance is available. When the DA crosses 50%, the HRA for X, Y and Z cities will be reduced to 30%, 20% and 10% respectively.
