Haryana DA Hike Announcement: CM Khattar, while addressing the media on the occasion of completion of nine years of his government, announced the DA hike. During this, he also highlighted many achievements made during his tenure.
Haryana DA Hike Announcement: Following the Central Government, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar also announced a 4 percent increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) for the state government employees. This announcement from the Haryana government has come after the Center increased the DA for government employees from 42 percent to 46 percent.
The Chief Minister said that the state government employees will get increased DA from July 1, 2023 and this step of the state government will benefit about 3.5 lakh employees of Haryana.

Before Haryana, other states like Odisha, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have announced increase in dearness allowance for their government employees before Diwali. While some states have announced a 3% DA hike, others have announced a 4% DA hike for their employees.
