At present, the employees are getting the benefit of 34 percent DA, which will now increase to 38 percent. The government has not yet officially announced the increase in DA, but in some media reports such a claim is being made.
Know how much will be the increase in salary
If the Modi government increases the Dearness Allowance (DA) of central employees by 4 percent, then it will become 38 percent. After this, a record-breaking increase of Rs 2.60 lakh will also be recorded in the salary. About 47 lakh central employees and 68 lakh pensioners will get the benefit of increased DA.
According to a government report, if the government increases DA by 4 percent, then the DA of central employees will be 34 to 38 percent. With this, there will be a big increase in the basic salary.
The basic salary of the employees is Rs 56,900, they will get Rs 21,622 as DA on 38% dearness allowance and will see an increase of Rs 2,276 per month in salary. Every year the salary will increase by Rs 27,312 i.e. the total annual DA will be Rs 2,59,464. Similarly, 18000 people will also get 8640 rupees per month and 1,03,680 annual benefits.
DA increases twice in a year
At the same time, let us tell you for information that dearness allowance (DA) of central employees is increased twice a year. The first increase occurs from January to June and the second from July to December, which is determined by the data of the AICPI index.
All India Consumer Price Index is used to calculate the allowances of employees in comparison to inflation. About 90 lakh people will benefit from this. The government increases the DA for the employees according to the inflation.
