Dearness Allowance has been increased in Haryana
Actually, the Haryana Government has announced to increase the Dearness Allowance (DA) of the state government employees drawing salary under the Seventh Pay Commission by four percent. According to the order issued on Thursday by the Finance Department of the Government of Haryana, the DA has been increased from the existing 38 percent to 42 percent on the basic pay. This will be effective from January 1, 2023.
The increased DA will be given with the salary of April,
As per the order, the increased DA will be given with the salary of April and the arrears from January to March, 2023 will be given in May. The Finance Department said in another order that the state government has also increased Dearness Relief by four percent, which is given to pensioners/family pensioners under the Seventh Pay Commission.
It has been said in the order that DR has also been increased from 38 percent to 42 percent of the existing basic pension/family pension. This will also be applicable from January 1, 2023.
Central employees are getting 42 percent DA
Tell that central employees are already getting 42 percent dearness allowance and dearness relief. Dearness allowance is given to the employees for better living in the rising inflation. It is reviewed twice a year according to the inflation data of the Ministry of Labor. Although dearness allowance is reviewed in January and July, but it has been delayed for some time.
