The reason for the 3% increase in Central Government Dearness Allowance
According to the PTI report, the central government may increase the dearness allowance by 3%. According to Shiv Gopal Mishra, General Secretary of the All India Railways and Federation, the DA hike as per AICPI data is a little over 3% but the increase beyond the decimal is not considered. In such a situation, an estimate of three percent is being made in dearness allowance and dearness relief.
A proposal will be prepared regarding the increase in DA
For this, soon a proposal can be prepared by the Expenditure Department of the Union Finance Ministry regarding the increase in DA. The proposal will later be placed before the Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Modi for final approval. As soon as it is approved, orders will be issued to increase the dearness allowance.
