How much will the DA of the employees increase?
If the government increases the DA by three percent, then the dearness allowance of the employees will increase from 42 percent to 45 percent. Along with this, the DR of pensioners will also increase by 3 percent to 45 percent. It has also been said in a report that the government announces an increase in DA between one and three months of July.
How many people will be benefitted?
The benefit of the increase in DA and DR will be given directly to 1 crore employees and pensioners. Last time, the government had increased the DA by 4 per cent with effect from January 1, increasing the DA from 38 per cent to 42 per cent and now after a three per cent increase, DA will be 45 per cent.
