7th Pay Commission: There is great news for the central employees. The government can give a big gift to the central employees before Holi.

In fact, a meeting of the Union Cabinet is going to be held on March 16, in this meeting the government can take a big decision on many demands including increase in dearness allowance (DA) of central employees, arrears of 18 months.

This will benefit more than 50 lakh government employees and over 65 lakh pensioners. Actually DA is to be announced for January 2022.As expected, this time also there will be an increase of 3 percent in dearness allowance. Due to this, dearness allowance of central employees may increase from 31 percent to 34 percent. It is likely to be approved in the cabinet meeting on March 16.

In fact, on March 10, after the election results of 5 states, the model code of conduct has been removed. In such a situation, it is expected that in the next meeting of the Union Cabinet, the government can take a decision on DA. At present, government employees get 31 percent DA.

With the increase of 3 percent, the salary of central employees will increase up to a maximum of Rs 20,000 and a minimum of Rs 6480. DA of employees will increase to 34 percent. As per AICPI data, DA has reached 34.04 per cent till December 2021.

According to this figure, this time the DA will increase by 3 percent. If the basic salary of the employee is Rs 18,000 per month. 6120 per month will be available on new DA (34%). Now getting Rs 5580 on DA being 31%. You will get Rs 540 per month in your monthly salary. That is, annually you will get Rs 6,480.
