There is good news for the government employees of Uttarakhand. After the Central Government has increased the dearness allowance of central employees and pensioners by 4%, now the Uttarakhand government is preparing to increase the DA.
It is reported that the Finance Department has started preparations for this and its proposal can be placed in the cabinet meeting to be held on October 30. More than 3 lakh employees will benefit from this. Rs 7000 can also be given as Diwali bonus. However, official confirmation is yet to be made.
Finance department’s proposal ready, 4% increase in DA possible
Actually, the Center has increased the DA of central employees by 4%, while new DA rates have also been announced in many states like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Haryana and Odisha. Along with this, the Rajasthan government has also sent the proposal to increase DA to the Election Commission for approval.
Its preparations are in full swing in UP-Bihar also. It is reported that the Pushkar Dhami government of Uttarakhand can also announce dearness allowance and bonus for more than 3 lakh employees of the state before Diwali. For this, Finance has sent files in this regard for higher approval.
The proposal may come in the cabinet on Monday
There is news that DA of state employees will be increased by 4 percent like the Centre, due to which DA will increase from 42% to 46%, it will be implemented from July 2023, in such a situation arrears of 3 months will also be given.
It is believed that this year also the state government will give Rs 7000 as bonus to the employees on the occasion of Diwali. Employees up to 4800 grade pay will also get its benefit.
It is likely that Diwali bonus and DA can be announced on October 30, while the bonus amount can also be sent to the accounts along with the increased salary in the first week of November. However, official confirmation is yet to be made.
