Employees Holiday, 7th Pay Commission, Employees Child Care Leave: Big relief has been given to the employees by the Modi government. For this, their leave rules have been amended. Orders have also been issued. Along with setting the rules and policy, it will be mandatory for the employees to follow it.
They will be given holidays for a maximum of 2 years
The Central Government has made regular amendments regarding the holidays of the eligible members of the All India Service Children’s Leave Rule. They will be given holidays for a maximum of 2 years. A maximum of 2 years paid leave will be provided to them by the government to take care of two children. However, these employees will be able to take advantage of 2 years of paid leave during their entire career.
Amendment in All India Service Children Leave Rule 1995
The Department of Personnel and Training has recently released the notification. The notification amended the All India Service Children’s Leave Rules, 1995 in consultation with the state government. Under the revised rule by the Central Government, 370 days leave will be provided to the employees for the care of 2 children.
A female and a male member of an All India Service shall be provided 730 days leave during the entire service for taking care of the 2 eldest children. However, the rules stipulate that employees will be able to avail this facility for education and other care on foster basis before the children complete 18 years of age.
Children account will not be linked with other leaves
Children account will not be linked with other holidays as per the notification issued. Its accounts will be determined separately. Under this, a separate account will be created, which will be made available to the members. Children Live Care will not be availed by the employees during the probation period.
Tell that the rules say that not more than three holidays are made available to the employees in a calendar year. In case of a single woman, leave can be taken up to 6 times during a calendar year. Under Child Care Leave, employees are not provided with leave of less than 5 days at a time. Employees will be entitled to leave for 730 days till the children complete 18 years.
