7th Pay Commission: Under the 7th Pay Commission, the Government of Maharashtra has announced an increase in Dearness Allowance (DA). It is expected that soon the DA installment will be paid.
Maharashtra government employees are currently getting dearness allowance at the rate of 31 percent. This is expected to be increased to 34 per cent soon. After the central government, many states have increased the dearness allowance of their employees.
At present, the Central Government is giving dearness allowance at the rate of 34 percent to its employees. According to media reports, the Maharashtra government has announced that dearness allowance will be increased through installments under the Seventh Pay Commission.
DA payment will be done like this
The state government is paying DA in 5 installments. The government has paid it in two installments. Now it is the turn of the third installment. This decision of the government will directly benefit about 17 lakh Maharashtra government employees.
These employees will benefit
Maharashtra government employees as well as Zilla Parishad and Municipal Corporation employees were brought under the 7th Pay Commission in 2019. The government then decided that starting from 2019-20, the employees would be given five installments in five installments for five years.

The state employees have received two installments so far. You have to pay the third installment to the state government employees in June. After this, the fourth and fifth installments will be paid in the next coming years.
Salary will increase up to 40 thousand rupees
With this decision of the government, there will be an increase in the compensation of Group A officers in government employees under the Seventh Pay Commission. Around Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 will increase at the same time.
Group B officers will get a bonus of Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000. Group C officers will get Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000. Whereas, Group D officers will get Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000. The DA of government employees in Maharashtra is now 31.
