This year the festival of Navratri is going to start from 15th October and Dussehra is on 24th October. The holy festival of Diwali is on 12th November.
Chances of bumper gift before Diwali
According to the news going on in the media, the Central Government may announce increase in dearness allowance during or after Navratri. If this happens, then increased salary and arrears may come into the accounts of central employees before Diwali. That means, in both the cases, the Diwali of central employees and pensioners can be bumper.
Expectation of 4 percent increase in dearness allowance
Meanwhile, dearness allowance of central employees is expected to increase by 4 percent in this half year also. If this happens then the current dearness allowance will increase from 42 to 46 percent. In such a situation, there may be a big increase in the salary of central employees and pension of pensioners.
