There is good news for the employees. Their dearness allowance will be increased by 4 percent. Orders will be issued soon for this. With the announcement, a big increase in the salary of the employees will be seen.

7th Pay Commission, DA Hike: There is good news for more than 1 crore employees of the country. Actually, they can get a big gift in the month of August 9 September. Their dearness allowance can be increased by 4 percent. AICPI data for the month of May has been released. Under which 45.57% was seen in dearness allowance. In such a situation, it is believed that an increase of 46 percent in dearness allowance will be recorded.

Dearness Allowance will be increased at the rate of 4 percent.

For the second half, dearness allowance will be increased at the rate of 4 percent. If everything goes well then the central government can increase the dearness allowance by the month of October. With this, the dearness allowance will increase to 46%. The hike in dearness allowance was announced in the month of March. Earlier it was implemented from January 2023. After which the employees were given the benefit of increase in dearness allowance including arrears. The same June figures will be released on July 30 or 31. After the AICPI figures come, there will be complete clarity regarding the increase in dearness allowance.

Decision can also be taken on fitment factor

On the other hand, some important benefits can be given by the government on the fitment factor as well. In fact, a demand is being made to increase the fitment factor by 3.68 while it is believed that the government can increase the minimum basic salary of the employees by 3 times. In this way their salary can increase up to ₹ 90000.

Presently the fitment factor for determining the basic pay is 2.57. The demand to increase it is being made since 2017. However, at present no official confirmation has been made by the government on this. If the government increases the basic salary of the employees, then the minimum basic salary may increase from ₹ 18000 to ₹ 26000. An increase of up to Rs 8000 can be seen in them.

Clarification by Government on 8th Pay Commission

The demand for the 8th Pay Commission is once again catching discussion across the country. The government constitutes a new pay commission every 10 years to revise the salary structure of central employees. An increase in the salary of the employees is seen on the basis of the recommendation. 7 times pay commissions have been made.

The first pay commission in the country was constituted in the month of January in 1946 while the seventh pay commission was constituted in 2014 on 28 February. It was implemented in 2016. At the same time, clarification has been given by the government on the 8th Pay Commission. The government has once again made it clear that at present no proposal is under consideration to form the eighth pay commission. In such a situation, once again it has come to a halt. However, the employees organizations demand that the new pay commission should be implemented as soon as possible and the salary of the employees should be increased.
