Central Government is going to give great news to lakhs of employees and pensioners. During the coming festivals, the dearness allowance of the employees will be increased from 42 to 46 per cent and pensioners will be given increased dearness relief.
Central employees and pensioners, who were waiting for good news on Raksha Bandhan, are now waiting for good news from the government during the upcoming festivals. Its benefits will be given to 47.58 lakh employees and about 69.76 lakh pensioners. This will increase the salary of the employees from 27000 to 70000. At the same time, you will also get the benefit of allowances.
The Ministry of Labor, Government of India has released the AICPI index for the month of July. Accordingly, it increased by 3.3 points to reach the level of 139.7 points as against 136.4 points in June. After this, the score of dearness allowance has also increased and touched the level of 47.14 percent.
However, figures for September to December are about to come. After this, the inflation index numbers from July to December will decide how much the dearness allowance can be increased in the next year 2024. At present the rates for July are yet to be announced.
According to the increase in marks in dearness allowance, a four percent increase in dearness allowance is possible. At present 42 percent dearness allowance is being given to central employees.
After increasing the dearness allowance by four percent, there will be a rise in the salaries of the employees once again. Along with this, dearness allowance of pensioners will also be increased. About one lakh central government employees living in Madhya Pradesh will get the benefit of this increase.
The seal will be put in the Union Cabinet
Currently the summit of G20 countries is going on in Delhi. After this, a proposal for increase in dearness allowance and dearness relief will be proposed in the Union Cabinet to be held on September 27. As soon as the dearness allowance is approved, it will be implemented from July 2023. Along with this, the arrears of July and August can be given in October.
After the Centre, it is Madhya Pradesh’s turn
Like the Central Government, 42 percent dearness allowance is being given in Madhya Pradesh also. Whenever the Central Government increases the dearness allowance, the state government also increases the dearness allowance of its eight and a half lakh employees accordingly. The Shivraj government of the state also always tries to ensure that they get dearness allowance at par with the central government employees.
