It is being told that before Diwali, the Dearness Allowance/Dearness Relief (DA/DR) of UP government employees and pensioners will be increased.

According to media reports, dearness allowance is being increased by 4 percent. This will benefit 7 lakh pensioners including 12 lakh teachers-employees. At present 42 percent DA and DR is being given in the state. If there is an increase now, it will go up to 46 percent.

You will get two big gifts in October salary

If DA hike is approved, it will come into effect from July 1. Along with this, arrears from July 1 to September will also be given to employees and pensioners. It must be remembered that the government announces increase in DA twice a year. The first DA comes into effect from January 1 every year and the second from July 1. It is being told that the increased DA of the employees will be released along with the arrears in the salary for the month of October.

The Center has given a gift:

The Central Government has increased the dearness allowance for central employees and dearness relief for pensioners by 4%. With this 4 percent increase, dearness allowance will increase from 42 percent to 46 percent. This decision will benefit 48.67 lakh central government employees and 67.95 lakh pensioners.
