This agreement has come into effect from November 1, 2017 and is valid till October 31, 2027. Along with this, the outstanding arrears of 62 months will also be paid to the employees. This arrear will be paid to the employees in 5 instalments.

Pending new wage revision approved on Tuesday
In fact, the long pending new wage revision in HCL has been approved on Tuesday. The MoU has been signed in the office of Kolkata in the presence of Deputy Chief Labor Commissioner. Earlier, at the meeting of the National Joint Committee of Copper, an MoU was prepared between the management and the union on the wage revision agreement. MoS Karup has been taken in a tripartite agreement with the Deputy Chief Labor Commissioner on Tuesday. With this, the eighth wage revision agreement has been implemented in HCL.

Arrear payment in 5 installments
Employees will get its benefit from the month of February. Increased wages for the month of January will be seen in the account of the labourers. Along with this, he will be paid arrears of 62 months. The installment is to be paid every 3 months for this arrear payment to be done in 5 installments. The first installment will be paid by the management to the employees before March 8.

Payment of arrears to employees who retired after 2017
With the implementation of today’s pay scale, arrears will also be paid to the employees who retired after November 1, 2017. Along with this, the laborers are also to be given the benefit of 23 percent perks along with an 11 percent minimum guaranteed benefit. Along with this, the night advance has also been increased. It has been agreed to increase the night allowance from ₹ 50 to ₹ 75. The duration of Service Link Advancement Scheme has been reduced from 6 years to 5 years. Apart from this, such employees who do not get the benefit of promotion on time, their grade will increase in 5 years.

Benevolent Fund was also increased from ₹20 to ₹100.
Along with this, the Benevolent Fund has also been increased from ₹ 20 to ₹ 100. Under this, if a laborer dies, then the amount collected after deducting ₹ 100 from the salary of all the laborers, the same amount will be handed over to the family members of the laborers by the management. With this decision of the company, now there will be an increase in the salary of the employees. On the other hand, from the month of February, the amount will increase in their account while before Holi they will be paid an installment of arrears.
