Schools Closed Due To Pollution: In many places including Delhi, the level of pollution has increased to such an extent that even breathing has become difficult. Due to such worsening of AQI i.e. Air Quality Index, schools had to be closed. Keeping in mind the health of the children, they were prohibited from going out and schools were closed.
It started from Delhi and then gradually the same situation was seen in the surrounding areas also. In Noida, Gurgaon and Ghaziabad too, schools were closed in some places and online classes started in some places. Delhi
In view of the increasing level of pollution, Delhi’s schools were closed first. Here, primary schools i.e. schools up to class 5 have been closed till 10th November. Even before this, schools were closed in Delhi on 4 and 5 November. Here schools have been asked to conduct online classes while children of class 10th and 12th can go to school.
Noida
In Noida too, schools have been closed in view of the increasing levels of pollution. Schools here have been closed till 10th November. All schools in Noida and Greater Noida have been closed and orders have been given to conduct online classes. This is for class up to 9th. Students of older classes can go to school.
Ghaziabad
After Delhi and Noida, schools in Ghaziabad have also been closed in view of the pollution level. Here also the DM has ordered to conduct online classes instead of physical classes. This order is for students up to class 9. Here also schools will remain closed till 10 November 2023.
Gurgaon
An order has come to close the schools of Gurgaon from tomorrow i.e. 7th November. Here schools from nursery to class 5 have been closed. Online classes can be conducted for these children but there will be no physical classes till further orders. In Faridabad also, schools have been closed for children up to class 5.
