The Finance Minister said these things in his address while opening 12 GST Facilitation Centers in Vapi, Gujarat. The Finance Minister said that through these GST centres, businessmen will be helped in getting GST registration done without making any mistake and it will also be possible to solve their problems through these centres. The Finance Minister said that a continuous increase is being seen in GST collection. GST rates on many goods have been reduced compared to earlier. The Finance Minister said that double tax is not being imposed on traders that is why GST collection is increasing.

The Finance Minister said that still many businessmen do not want to come under the ambit of GST and they are not part of the organized economy. He appealed and said, ‘They should not come under the ambit of GST just because they will pay tax, but they should come for the real strength of the economy.

He said that we are getting only some people, not all. And the economy can be completely organized only when all the people come under its ambit. He said that staying out of the organized economy is neither good for the country nor for those individuals.

The Finance Minister said that if traders do not come under the purview of GST, it means that you are losing potential buyers. The Finance Minister said, ‘Now I would like to focus on tax collection, the figures of which are increasing every year and month.

But at the same time, our focus should also be on ensuring that more and more business establishments and businesses get involved in this. Everyone in the country should benefit from a transparent tax system.
