Bandhan Bank INSPIRE: There is good news for elderly people banking with Bandhan Bank. A new initiative for senior people named ‘INSPIRE’ has been launched by the Bank recently. The ‘Inspire’ program will offer senior citizen customers of the Bank an extension of existing benefits including good interest rates, priority access to banking services and doorstep banking facilities.
Additionally, this initiative provides life care benefits such as special discounts on medicine purchases, diagnostic services and medical treatments. Partnering with healthcare providers, the scheme offers concessions on doctor consultations, medical checkups and dental care.
The bank also plans to introduce additional features such as direct access to phone banking executives to enhance the overall banking experience for senior citizen customers.
Currently, the bank is offering attractive interest rates on fixed deposits for senior citizens. They can avail FD interest rates up to 8.35% for a tenure of 500 days. In case of tax-saving FDs, senior citizens can benefit from an interest rate of 7.5% per annum.+
