Rajasthan
Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has announced December 25 as the date of commencement of winter vacation in the schools of the state. In this regard, RBSE shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) confirming the date of commencement of winter vacation on December 25.
Delhi
Delhi government has reduced the duration of winter vacation from 15 days to 6 days, citing closure of schools in November due to poor air quality. Delhi Education Department shared a circular which reads, ‘In view of the above, the remaining part of winter vacation for the academic session 2023-2024 is scheduled to be observed from 01.01.2024 (Monday) to 06.01.2024 (Saturday).’
All government and private schools of Jammu
will observe winter vacation from December 11, 2023 to February 29, 2024. According to Jammu Education Board Directorate, schools will remain closed for students up to class 8 from December 11, 2023 to February 29, 2024. Holidays for students of classes 9th to 12th will be from 18th December to 29th February.
