Northern Railways has already given information so that people do not face any problem. Northern Railways will keep the Delhi PRS system closed for a few hours on Saturday night for technical reasons for the people of Delhi and surrounding areas. For how many hours and when will the railway PRS services remain closed
According to Himanshu Shekhar, Chief Public Relations Officer of Northern Railways, all the services of Delhi PRS including ticket reservation, ticket cancellation, charting, inquiry (139 and counter service), internet booking will remain closed. Its time has been kept as Saturday midnight. Northern Railways has issued a press release stating that Delhi PRS services will be temporarily canceled for 2.30 hours on the midnight of 10 and 11 August 2024 in New Delhi. Online-offline reservation and 139 PNR inquiry service will also remain closed in Delhi PRS.
What is written in the press release
All concerned are informed that the services of Delhi Passenger Reservation System are being canceled from midnight of 10/11.08.2024 for static and dynamic database comparison activity. Under this, all these services will not be available or will be canceled for 2.30 hours.

Delhi PRS is a big center among the cities from which PRS service operates for Railways in the country. Train ticket booking of Delhi and many nearby cities is done from Delhi PRS. Today all types of reservation related services will be closed for two and a half hours, so get your train ticket booked or canceled in advance or else you will have to wait till Sunday morning.
