Rule Change: The month of September has started and from 1st September 2024, many big changes (Rule Change From 1st September) have come into effect in the country. Which are going to affect every pocket and every home. While on one hand the oil marketing companies have increased the price of LPG cylinders (LPG Price Hike), on the other hand, the rules related to HDFC Bank’s credit card have also been changed. Let us know about 5 such big changes…

1 – LPG cylinder became expensive

According to the website of IOCL, the prices of commercial gas cylinders have increased from Delhi to Mumbai and the new prices have been implemented from 1st September 2024. After the latest change, now the 19 kg LPG cylinder in the capital Delhi (Delhi LPG Cylinder Price) has increased from Rs 1652.50 to Rs 1691.50. Here there has been an increase of Rs 39 per cylinder. Whereas in Kolkata it has increased from Rs 1764.50 to Rs 1802.50, in Mumbai from Rs 1605 to Rs 1644 and in Chennai from Rs 1817 to Rs 1855.

2 – Price of aviation fuel (ATF) reduced

The second change implemented from the first of September is a relief and is good news for air travelers. Actually, the price of aviation fuel i.e. air turbine fuel has been reduced (ATF Price Cut). In the capital Delhi, its price has come down from Rs 97,975.72 per kiloliter in August to Rs 93,480.22 per kiloliter. Whereas in Kolkata it has come down from Rs 1,00,520.88 per kilolitre to Rs 96,298.44, in Mumbai from Rs 91,650.34 per kilolitre to Rs 87,432.78 and in Chennai from Rs 1,01,632.08 per kilolitre to Rs 97,064.32 per kilolitre.

3 – Credit card rules changed

If you use HDFC Bank’s credit card, then the change implemented from 1 September 2024 is for you. Actually, from the first date, HDFC Bank has fixed the limit of reward points on utility transactions, today’s date was fixed to implement this rule. Under this change, the bank’s credit card users can now get only up to 2,000 points every month on these transactions. Apart from this, HDFC Bank will not give any reward for making educational payments through third party apps.

4 – Bank Holiday for half the days of the month

If you have any important work related to the bank in the month of September, then leave the house only after looking at the RBI Bank Holiday List. Actually, banks will be closed for half the days of this month. The month is starting with a weekly holiday on Sunday on 1 September 2024 and due to festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, First Onam and Barawafat as well as other events throughout the month, there will be no work in bank branches for 15 days in different states. 5 – Last chance for free update of Aadhar card

Apart from these big changes, the month of September is important for other works. The most important of these is the work related to Aadhar card. Actually, the last date for updating Aadhaar card for free has been fixed as 14 September. After this, you will not be able to update some things related to Aadhaar for free. After September 14, you will have to pay a fee to update Aadhaar. However, earlier the last date for updating Aadhaar for free was 14 June 2024, which was extended to 14 September 2024.
