Process of applying online
- First of all search NSDL on Google and tap on the first link “Online PAN application”.
- After the PAN application opens, select the type “New PAN- Indian Citizen (Form 49A)”, then select ‘Individual’ in the category.
- Fill in the details like full name, DOB, mobile number and email ID in the applicant information below.
- Now fill the captcha and submit it.
- A token number will appear in front of you. Note it down and click on “Continue with PAN Application Form”.
- Now select “Forward application documents physically” on number 3.
- Enter the last 4 digits of the Aadhaar card and name and check the previously filled information. Many new details will also have to be filled here.
- After this click next. Here it will be the turn to submit parent details, income details and documents.
- Once all these steps are completed, the option to submit will come at the end. A fee of Rs 107 is charged for this.
- ‘After the verification is complete, you will be able to download the PAN card online. It takes at least 15 days to get a PAN card made.”
