Vida, the electric subsidiary of two-wheeler manufacturer Hero, has launched its new V2 e-scooter. There are three variants of the V2 electric scooter. It includes Light, Plus and Pro variants. All these variants come with different battery capacities. The Light variant gets a 2.2kWh battery, which offers an IDC range of 94km. Let’s know its details in detail.

What is the price?

The Light variant of the Vida V2 e-scooter is priced at Rs 96,000, the Plus variant at Rs 1.15 lakh and the Pro variant at Rs 1.35 lakh.

Vida V2 model lineup

The Vida V2 Lite is an all-new variant and features a smaller 2.2kWh battery pack with a claimed 94km IDC range. It also has a top speed of 69kph compared to the Plus and Pro variants that have a top speed of 85kph and 90kph respectively. Only two riding modes Ride and Eco are available on the V2 Lite. But, the rest of the feature-set is similar to the other two, including a 7-inch touchscreen TFT display.

5-year warranty on e-scooter

This electric scooter comes with a 5-year/50,000 km warranty, while the battery packs come with a 3-year/30,000 km warranty.

Vida is slowly but steadily making inroads into the EV market. Sales numbers for Hero’s electric subsidiary are steadily growing every month. With the launch of this new affordable V2 Lite and the growing network of Vida showrooms across India, the company hopes to establish itself among the top 5 players in the EV segment in the coming months.
