BSNL’s Intranet TV (BiTV) in partnership with OTTplay offers over 300 channels including premium channels to mobile users in Puducherry without any payment.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced three services that will redefine connectivity and entertainment for millions of Indians. These customer-centric services have been launched in Puducherry. BSNL said that with these, it is reiterating the company’s mission to make the digital experience more simple and inclusive.
Intranet TV (BiTV) on Mobile
In a first of its kind initiative, BSNL’s Intranet TV (BiTV) in partnership with OTTplay brings over 300 live TV channels including premium channels to mobile users in Puducherry for free. The company has said in its statement that the aim of this service is to provide high quality entertainment, making digital content easily available to all BSNL mobile users in Puducherry irrespective of their plans. This service will be launched as a pilot in January.

BSNL’s National WiFi Roaming Facility in Manadipattu Village
BSNL launched an innovative BSNL WiFi roaming facility across the country in October 2024. Manadipattu has become the second village in India to be fully WiFi enabled, as BSNL is expanding its national WiFi roaming facility to rural areas.
This innovative service connects both BSNL and non-BSNL customers through a seamless network of WiFi hotspots. Both BSNL and non-BSNL customers can enjoy great internet access. However, customers have to give their consent to activate the service.
How does it work for customers?
BSNL FTTH Customers
1. Use your home internet from any BSNL WiFi hotspot or any BSNL FTTH connection across the country and the charges will be applicable only on your home data account.
2. Use WiFi in public places or even other BSNL FTTH homes. (Customers will need to give one-time consent for simultaneous use of these connections across the country.)
3. BSNL Mobile Users: Apart from BSNL FTTH users, we are also extending this seamless high speed WiFi connectivity to BSNL mobile users. Even all BSNL mobile users can connect.
4. Connect to BSNL WiFi hotspot directly through your mobile plan. One-time registration makes login simple and quick. After login, users can extend their mobile data usage to BSNL FTTH network for high-speed downloads.
5. Also, BSNL mobile users can automatically log in to any FTTH home connection and they will be able to use high speed internet connectivity.
Non-BSNL users
1. Access BSNL’s high-speed WiFi hotspots and BSNL FTTH points/FTTH home connections by paying through UPI, ensuring faster internet for all.

IFTV launched in Puducherry
BSNL’s Intranet Fibre-based TV (IFTV), which was first launched nationwide in October 2024, is now available to all FTTH customers in Puducherry. The service, which offers over 500 live TV channels, is completely free, leveraging BSNL’s strong FTTH network. All BSNL FTTH customers will be able to avail this service for free. The customer has to send his consent to activate the service.
