Step 1: Go to UIDAI website

Visit UIDAI website, https://uidai.gov.in/ and select ‘Update Aadhar Detail Option ’.

Enter your 12 digit Aadhar number mentioned on your aadhar card and fill the code provided, in the text verification box. Once this is done, click on the button Send OTP (One Time Password).

Step 3: Enter OTP and proceed

Step 4: Select the option to update Aadhar details

Once you enter the OTP which you have got on your registered mobile number, you will see the web page which would allow you to update your Aadhar details. Add these details (make a correction), and then proceed to the next step.

Step 5: Upload documents

Final step involves uploading the scanned colored copy of your documents. It can be any government proof such as PAN card, driving license and so on. After this you have to select any agency, from where you want your details to be updated.

Once the entire process is completed, you will then receive a confirmation message, along with URN (Update Request Number). Keep this number safe with you. Then your updated Aadhar card is delivered to your home, within a couple of days.
