UIDAI gave new information to update Aadhaar, no need to go to bank

Now anyone can update the demographic data in their Aadhaar by going to Common Service Center (CSC). UIDAI has given information about this on Monday. This work will also be started by the end of June.

new Delhi. The government has given a big relief for those doing Aadhaar update. Now Aadhaar update can also be done through Common Service Centers (CSC). The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has allowed about 20 thousand common service centers to update Aadhaar. Earlier this work was done by the banking correspondent. Preparation is underway to prepare the system of Aadhaar update at all these centers.


You will get the facility of demographic update
UIDAI informed on Monday that now Aadhaar can be updated through Common Service Center. UIDAI has written in a letter to Dinesh Tyagi, CEO of CSC’s e-governance services, that only the Demographic Data in Aadhaar facility will be allowed. Center operators and Aadhaar users will be identified through fingerprints and pupil of the eye.

and the system will be ready by the end of June

UIDAI said that the system is expected to be ready by the end of June. Children’s biometrics details will be updated with CSC and address changes will also be possible. For this, the center operators will have to submit a police verification report, which should not be more than 3 months old.


Ravi Shankar Prasad also gave information,
Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and Minister of State for IT Sanjay Dhotre informed about UIDAI’s approval of CSC through social media posts.



Ravi Shankar Prasad said that he would like the operator of CSC to start Aadhaar work as per the instructions of UIDAI. Prasad said, ‘I am sure that this facility will help a large number of rural citizens to get Aadhaar service close to their place of residence.’
