The Kejriwal government has extended the validity of learning licenses expiring between February 2020 and November 2021 till January 31, 2022. The Delhi administration has taken this decision due to the circumstances arising out of Kovid-19 and the increased waiting for the driving test. Delhi Transport Department has given this information.

No need to come to office for driving test
Delhi Transport Department has started e-learner license facility service under its faceless service model. Under this, the process of learning license has been simplified. The applicant can take the driving test from his/her home or workplace. Learner’s License can be applied for online. Slots have been allotted to the applicant to appear for the driving test without visiting any office of the department. After clearing the test, the license is sent to the applicants’ address.

Let us inform that the Delhi Transport Department started the trial of faceless system for transport services from 19 February 2021 and it was launched on 11 August 2021. As per the directions of the Delhi Government, all the services have been brought under the purview of the faceless system, except for the Permanent Driving Test and the vehicle fitness test.
Mode of Application You can apply for
Learning License online through Aadhar Card at https://parivahan.gov.in/. After this your name, date of birth, address, guardian or father’s name, applicant’s photo will be auto registered in the form. In this way personal details cannot be changed in any way. Along with the application, you will have to make a declaration of physical fitness online. As soon as the application is registered, you will get the application number through a text message. On depositing the digital fee, you will receive the Learning License Test Password through SMS.
Online test will have to be given for learning license
You will have to take a simple test online on your computer, in which 20 questions will be asked of you which will be of 10 marks. The type of questions related to road safety, traffic signs will be objective type of questions. The applicant who will get 6 marks out of 10. He will be considered passed. After this the learning license will be issued online. You can also take a print out of it.
