The Modi government of the Center has increased the dearness allowance of central employees (Central Employees Pensioner) to 31 percent under the 7th Pay Commission, which will be applicable on July 1. Along with this, 4 months Dearness Allowance (DA / DR Hike) arrears to the employees.

It is also going to be received soon, but the decision has not yet been taken on the dearness allowance arrears (18 Months DA Arrears) which have been stuck for 18 months, for which about 1 crore employees are waiting.

However, according to media reports, in December 2021 in this regard. A meeting can be held and a decision can be taken on it before the new year. This will give benefits of up to 2 lakhs to the employees. However, no official statement has come out from the government.

In fact, recently the dearness allowance and dearness relief of 47 lakh 14 thousand central employees and 68 lakh 62 thousand pensioners have been increased from 28 percent to 31 percent. There will be load. Although this increase of DA / DR will be applicable from July 1 to December 2021.

The same news is that the arrears of 4 months i.e. July, August, September and October can also be included in the pension of retired employees in November, but So far, a decision is yet to be taken on the outstanding DA arrears for 18 months from 1 January 2020 to 30 June 2021.

According to media reports, a meeting can be held with the Cabinet Secretary in this regard in December, in which the one-time payment of DA arrears is likely to be discussed. Chunky Bhartiya Pensioners Manch (BPM) has also sought Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s intervention for early release of DA and DR dues for central government employees and pensioners.

The same National Council of JCM secretary Shiv Gopal Mishra has demanded that one time settlement of 18 months arrears should also be done after the DA is restored. In such a situation, there is a possibility that PM Modi can take a decision on this before Christmas or New Year. However, no update or statement has come out from the government yet.

According to media reports, the DA arrears of Level-1 employees can range between Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,000. At the same time, level-13 employees will be given Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200 as DA arrears.

The employee whose basic salary is Rs 18,000, he will get three months DA arrears(4,320+3,240+4,320) = Rs 11,880. Whereas the employee whose basic salary is Rs 56,000 will get DA arrears of 3 months (13,656 + 10,242 + 13,656) = Rs 37,554. (This is shown as an example, it may change
