If any mobile number is linked with your Aadhaar number without your knowledge, then you can also complain about it.

Many times it happens that some other person is running the SIM on our identity card especially the Aadhar card and we do not even know. Do you know that how many mobile sims are linked to your aadhaar number, you can easily know this. If you are not using any of these SIMs, then you can turn it off.

The government has also prepared a portal to find out how many SIMs are active on your Aadhaar number. The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has recently launched a portal Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection (TAFCOP). Through this portal, users can check all the phone numbers linked to their Aadhaar number.

Through the TAFCOP website, you can easily find out how many SIMs have been issued on your Aadhar card so far. If any mobile number is linked with your Aadhaar number without your knowledge, then you can also complain about it. Apart from this, you can also easily separate your old and unused number from your Aadhaar.

How to check Linked SIM?

1.  To know about your Aadhaar linked mobile SIM, you must first go to https://tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in/.

2.  Here you have to enter your phone number.

3.  After this you have to click on ‘Request OTP’ button.

4.  After this, you will have to enter the OTP received on your mobile number.

5.  Then, all the numbers linked to your Aadhaar number will be visible on the website.

6.  Where users can report and block numbers that are not in use or are no longer needed.
