Even before this, on October 6, state-owned oil companies had increased the rates of non-subsidized LPG gas cylinders. The prices of domestic LPG cylinders across all categories, including subsidized gas, were hiked by Rs 15 per cylinder last month.

Considering the rising crude oil prices, it is expected that the domestic LPG cylinder prices may soon cross the ₹1,000 mark.
