To include the name of the children in the ration card, you have to follow some steps. So let’s know about those methods-
These documents are needed to add the name –
1. A passport size photograph of the head of the household will be required to add the name of the child to the ration card. Let us tell you that the picture of the head of the household is on the ration card. Therefore, to get the name added, take a passport size photograph of the chief.
2. Along with this, you will have to give the birth certificate of the child to get the name of the children added to the ration card. The birth certificate of the child should be issued by the Municipal Corporation, Municipality or Gram Panchayat.
3. If you have adopted a child, then his adoption certificate will be required at the time of adding the name in the ration card.
4. Along with this, you will also need a copy of the child’s Aadhar card. This document is given as an important identity card. Take a photo of it and keep it with you.
5. After this, to get the names of the children added, you will have to fill and submit the application form. Along with this, submit all the given documents. The officials will verify all the information and link the name of the child with the ration card.
