Liquor Price In Delhi: Heavy discounts have been started on all types of liquor in Delhi. The old liquor policy of the Delhi government did not have the freedom to fix the price of liquor on its own, but this exemption has been given in the new policy.
Due to various offers on Whiskey, people are taking a bottle instead of one, as it is getting more discount. Now liquor in Delhi has become cheaper than Noida and Gurugram.
After the introduction of the new liquor policy ie Liquor Policy, huge discounts have been started on all types of liquor in Delhi. These discounts range from 30 percent to 40 percent, which are available not only on Indian Made Liquor (IMFL), but also on Foreign Liquor (Imported Liquor).
Actually, the old liquor policy of the Delhi government (NCT Government) did not have the freedom to fix the price of liquor on its own, but this exemption has been given in the new policy, due to which many vendors are doing this to increase their sales. Due to various offers, people are taking bottle instead of one, because it is getting more discount.
Retailers bringing more than one offer
Many retailers have even printed their own brochures, in which not only other stores but also neighboring cities like Gurugram and Noida have been compared. Through this brochure, retailers are offering various types of offers to the customers.
Some retailers are giving liquor at a cheaper price than Gurugram, whereas till now the cheapest liquor was available there. The price of Shivas Regal (12 years old) in Gurugram is Rs 2150 and if you buy 3 bottles then you will get a discount of Rs 150 on each bottle.
At the same time, some stores in Delhi are offering a bottle of Shivas Regal for just Rs 1890, while in Delhi its MRP is Rs 2920. Somewhere it is also available for Rs 1995, which is cheaper than Gurugram.
Which wine is being sold for how much?
The whiskey contract of JSN Infratech LLP has around 54 stores in Delhi. On these 18 year old liquor like Glenlivet is getting 700 ml bottle for just Rs 5115, while its MRP is Rs 7415.
Whiskey Talisker’s 750 ml 10-year old liquor is available for Rs 3125, while the MRP is Rs 4350. Jack Daniel’s is available for just Rs 1885, while the price is Rs 2730. Absolut Vodka is also available for just Rs 995 instead of its MRP of Rs 1520.
It was estimated that the price would increase, the discount started getting reverse
When the Delhi government’s new liquor policy came, many people believed that now the price of liquor can increase in Delhi. However, after the new policy, a competition has started among all the retailers, due to which people are getting discounted prices.
In the last 4 months, many customers of Delhi were taking liquor from Gurugram and Noida, because liquor was getting cheaper there, but now they are again taking cheap liquor in Delhi itself.
