Explain that for PRT, it is necessary to have Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Certificate in Basic Teachers Training of at least two years duration.
Two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) or Graduation in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Also, must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test-IV (CTET) conducted by CBSE as per the guidelines framed by NCTE and must have the ability to teach through Hindi and English media.
