Yamaha has launched its new Neo Electric Scooter in Europe, which costs around Rs 2.5 lakh in India.
The scooter is designed in such a way that minor scratches do not appear on it. The Neo EV has been built on its standard model which comes with a 50 cc engine.
Yamaha has launched its electric scooter Neo in the European market. The price of this scooter in Europe has been fixed at 3,005 Euro, which in India is around Rs 2.52 lakh.
Yamaha says that from May 2022, this electric scooter will be available in select European countries. In fact, the Neo EV is based on its standard variant, with which the 50 CC engine is given.
Yamaha has given the electric scooter many parts from the standard model, one of which is a great looking twin headlight setup. Its styling and design are strong and overall the scooter looks very attractive.
Designed to avoid scratches
The Yamaha Neo Electric Scooter has been designed in such a way that it can be protected from minor scratches. The EV is powered by a hub mounted brushless DC motor that makes 2.06 kW in STD mode. Its speed has been limited to 40 km.
Its power capacity drops to 1.58 kW on Eco mode, while its top speed also comes down to 35 km/h. The scooter has a range of 38.5 km in Eco mode, while the range increases to 68 km when a separate battery pack is installed.
Will get removable battery
Yamaha has given a removable 50.4 volt lithium-ion battery pack with the scooter, which weighs 8 kg. It takes a total of 8 hours to fully charge it from the home socket. Other features of the Neo electric scooter include smart keys and an LCD instrument cluster that connects to the smartphone.
Under this, the rider gets information about battery information, route information, calls and messages, apart from this 27 liters of space has been given under the seat. Let us tell you that if you install a separate battery pack, then this storage gets reduced.
