An amount of Rs 130 crore has been released by DDA to DMRC to reach Narela Metro. DDA believes that soon the work of building this metro line will be started and the people living there will benefit from it. Narela sub city being built by DDA is one of the new three sub city projects. These are being built in outer Delhi areas.

In order to meet the housing shortage in Delhi, flats are being built in these areas. So far more than 25 thousand flats have been constructed there by DDA. To promote the development of this area and to connect it with other important parts of Delhi, DDA is trying to bring in Metro connectivity. For this he is actively working with DMRC.

The Metro route of Rithala-Bawana-Narela has already been proposed by DMRC. DMRC has held several rounds of meetings with DDA to finalize this metro route. In present times, people living here have to face a lot of problems due to lack of transport.

The interest of people in taking the flats built here is also less because of this. DDA believes that when the metro route reaches Narela, it will improve connectivity there and more and more people will take flats towards Narela.

According to DDA, financial approval was given on their behalf for the metro project at Narela and an amount of Rs 130 crore has been released by DDA to DMRC for timely construction of the proposed route.

While DDA is bringing Metro to this area for public transport facility, on the other hand it is also working with NHAI and DMRC for road construction. He believes that on the one hand, while the housing problem will be reduced, on the other hand business will also increase in this area.

People will get cheap and important transport here, which will improve the standard of living of the residents of Narela.
