A big update has come out for pensioners. Such pensioners who were not given the benefit of pension for the month of April. New guidelines have been issued for those who have not yet received the pension for the month of April.

According to the issued guidelines, these new guidelines have been issued due to non-receipt of April pension to the Military Pensioners entering the SPARSH module. For which you have to take important steps like this. After which your amount will be sent to the account.

For Military Pensioners migrating to SPARSH under procedure as per guidelines or not receiving pension of April 2022, please note:-

  • The reason for non-deposit of pension for the month of April by some pensioners is non-submission of Life Certificate / Digital Life Certificate (DLC) / wrong DLC.
  • Pensioners have to submit life certificate in November every year. Pensioners who could not submit Life Certificate/DLC till March 2022 or submitted it incorrectly, their pension as of April 22 has not been released.
  • The action taken by all those pensioners (migrated to SPARSH) who have not paid pension for the month of April are given in the succeeding para.
  • Log in to SPARSH with the user credentials received via SMS or Email.
  • On the left, find “PDV”, click on it. Your service, family and salary details etc. will be shown.
  • Click Next at the bottom of each page, even if the data shown is incomplete/incorrect as you will not be able to edit/update it at this stage. You can edit/update it later by viewing/updating “My Profile”.
  • Follow the on screen procedure, click on “Agree / OK / Submit / Signature” etc. on the reflected declarations. You will be taken to the CDAC website for your Aadhaar authentication page. Enter your Aadhaar number and click on “Send OTP”. An OTP will be received on your mobile number registered with UIDAI (Aadhaar). Fill the OTP and click on “Submit”. On receipt of the successful message, complete the balance process onscreen. After the whole process is completed, log out and log in again.
  • After logging in, you will be shown all the services/features on the left side like Track Service, Identification, My Profile, Grievance, Income Tax, My Documents and Service Request etc.

Click on the “Identity” tab. You will be able to view your current status of submission of End Life Certificate available with PCDA(P)/SPARSH. If the validity of the certificate shown is not shown till a future date or November 2022 etc., it means you need to re-identify yourself even if you have already done it with bank or JPP etc because It’s not like this. You can do this through any of the following means/methods:-

(A) METHOD/OPTION 1. Submit the DLC through Govt. “Jeevan Pramaan Portal”. Download the app on PC/Tab/Mobile. It is better to download and install the app on mobile which facilitates facial recognition authentication of Aadhaar and does not require biometric finger print / iris scanner device. For more details visit the FAQ section on the website https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in.

(B) Method / Option 2. Visit any nearest CSC (Citizen / Common Service Centre) also known as E-Mitra etc. or Aadhar Centre, Bank Branches, Post Office, DIAV, Col Veterans etc. Around 4 lakh CSCs are located every 9-10 km across the country. While submitting the DLC/MLC other than SPARSH, the pensioner should select or write “SPARSH PCDA (P) ALLAHABAD” as his/her Pension Disbursing Authority in other portals like ‘Jeevan Pramaan’ etc.

New Sparsh PPO number should be filled instead of old one. PPO Number Your Sparsh PPO Number is Pension D (12 Digit Number) received through SMS from PCDA (P). Remember, the user name of 14 digits i.e. 01 or 02 or 03 is not to be entered in the Pension ID / PPO number at the end.

(C) Method / Option 3 (Through Touch). Login to your Touch account and click on Identity and then click on “Identify”. A new window will open. Click on the MLC box (Manual Life Certificate) and then click on Generate MLC Number.

MLC number will be generated, click on download MLC certificate, a certificate will be downloaded on your laptop/PC. Fill it and get it verified by a gazetted officer as per the list provided on the Sparsh portal.
