Ajay Singh, chairman and managing director of the airline company SpiceJet, said that the airline will soon start broadband internet service in its planes. Giving this information on Monday, he said that the company will include Boeing 737 Max aircraft in its aircraft fleet in the next few months.
SpiceJet has a fleet of 91 aircraft
According to the SpiceJet website, the airline has a fleet of 91 aircraft, of which 13 are MAX aircraft and 46 are older versions of Boeing-737 aircraft. On the airline’s 17th anniversary, Singh said in his email to employees that SpiceJet is flying with more passengers on a fish basis and is expected to increase in the coming months.
Singh said, “The Boeing 737 MAX aircraft has successfully returned to service and has also received good response from passengers. The airline plans to replace all its old aircraft with MAX and induct several MAX aircraft in the fleet in the next few months.
Recently the company has introduced a co-branded credit card
, he said, ‘We will add new products and new routes to our network this year. Our loyalty program SpiceClub recently introduced its co-branded credit card. We are hopeful that broadband internet service will be started in our aircraft soon. Singh said that SpiceJet’s network will be expanded to connect new destinations in India and across the world.
