This train will give an opportunity to the devotees of Lord Rama to visit Ayodhya, Janakpur (Nepal), Sitamarhi, Varanasi, Nashik and Rameshwaram on the Ramayana circuit.
8 thousand km journey will be completed in 18 days
According to the information given by the railways, the journey will take 18 days on the 8,000 km long circuit. The journey will start from Delhi. EMI option has also been introduced by the Railways to make booking convenient. Under the EMI option, you can book for the tour in installments.
Packages Starting From Rs.62,370
It was also told by the Railways that the price of a person’s ticket for Shri Ramayana Yatra will start from Rs 62,370. Everything will be included in the charge taken by the Railways. This includes 3AC tier charge, hotel stay, food, local bus darshan, travel insurance and guide service.
Infotainment system also
IRCTC has tied up with Paytm and Razorpay payment gateway to provide EMI option to the tourists. There will be two additional compartments for keeping luggage in the train. Also, there will be a separate pantry car for cooked vegetarian food. Each coach will also have an infotainment system, CCTV cameras and security guards.
600 passenger capacity
The first Bharat Gaurav Yatra train service will start from June 21. The train will have 11 3AC tier coaches with a capacity of 600 passengers. The train will first stop at Ayodhya station. Here you will go to Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, Hanuman Mandir, Bharat Mandir in Nandigram. The next stop will be Buxar, where the ashram of Maharishi Vishwamitra and Ram Rekha Ghat will be shown.
Opportunity to visit Banaras temple
After this the train will go to Janakpur (Nepal). Here the tourists will be taken to the Ram-Janaki temple. Along with this, he will be taken to Sitamarhi, the birth place of Sita. Then the train will come to Varanasi and here tourists will be taken to the temples of Banaras. Night stay is arranged in Varanasi, Prayagraj and Chitrakoot.

After this, in the next phase, the train will leave from Nashik to visit Trimbakeshwar temple and Panchavati. After Nashik, Kishkindha will be the ancient city of Hampi. Here guests will visit the temple believed to be the birthplace of Hanuman atop the Anjaneyadri hills and other heritage and religious sites.
The next destination of the yatra will be Rameswaram, covering the Ramanathaswamy temple and Dhanushkodi with overnight stays in hotels.
In addition, passengers will be taken to Kanchipuram where Shiva Kanchi, Vishnu Kanchi and Kamakshi temples are on day trips. From here, the final destination of the train is Bhadrachalam in Telangana, also widely known as the Ayodhya of the South.
Thereafter, the train will return to Delhi on the 18th day of its journey covering a distance of about 8,000 km.
