Pensioner Pension: There is news of work for the pensioners of Social Security Pension Scheme. Get life certification done before June 30, otherwise the pension may stop.
In this regard, the DM has directed that physical verification will be done from June 1 to June 30 by running a special campaign, for this, the list of pending pensioners in all panchayats should be made available. It has been given, during this time all the public representatives, Panchayat Secretaries, should complete the work.
In fact, under the Social Security Pension Scheme, life certification has been made mandatory for pensioners, despite this thousands of pensioners have not yet got life certification, so once again the department has set the last date of June 30 for life certification. All pensioners should ensure to get life certification done within the prescribed time limit, otherwise the pension may get stuck or stopped.
The DM said that at present, life certification of about 1 lakh 21 thousand pensioners is pending in Patna district. For their physical verification, the information in the prescribed form has to be made available to the Assistant Director, District Social Security Cell, Patna by maintaining a physical verification register for each Panchayat at the block level. The same Saharsa 42 thousand 201 pensioners have not yet got life certification.
All the BDOs have been instructed by the DM to ensure 100% certification by all the public representatives, Panchayat Secretaries, Vikas Mitra, Anganwadi Sevika Sahayika. Physical verification will be done from June 1 to June 30 by running a special campaign.
For this, the list of pending pensioners of life certification has been made available panchayat wise in all the blocks. The same wrongly mark the beneficiaries of pension. Departmental action will be taken against them.
