PNB hike RTGS-NEFT Charges: If you are a PNB customer then there is important news for you. The bank has increased the charges for NEFT (National Electronic Fund Transfer), RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement). These hikes are effective from May 20, 2022. PNB has also revised the charges of National Automated Clearing House e-mandate. Let us know how much has increased.

Changes in the rules of RTGS 

According to the information given by PNB, the RTGS charges for offline transactions have been reduced to Rs 24.50 and for online transactions to Rs 24, while earlier the RTGS charges for offline transactions at branch level were Rs 20. In addition, RTGS charges have been increased to Rs 49.50 for an amount of Rs 5 lakh and above, from Rs 40 earlier. Its online fee has been reduced to Rs 49.

Change in charges of NEFT 

Changes have been made in the charges of National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) operated by the Reserve Bank of India. As per the information given on the PNB website, ‘No fee is charged from the savings account holders for the NEFT fund transfer initiated online.’ Let us inform you that NEFT charges are applicable on savings accounts and transactions other than those taking place outside PNB.

Know the new charges 

According to the information given by PNB, on transactions up to Rs 10,000, the NEFT fee increased to Rs 2.25, which was Rs 2 earlier. The online fee for this has become Rs 1.75.

Under this, for transaction amount above Rs 10,000/- and up to Rs 1 lakh, the fee for transactions at branch level has been increased from Rs 4 to Rs 4.75, while for online transactions, the fee has been fixed at Rs 4.25.

At the same time, charges above Rs 1 lakh and up to Rs 2 lakh have been increased from Rs 14 to Rs 14.75 and for online transactions, Rs 14.25. For transactions above Rs 2 lakh, it has been increased from Rs 2 to Rs 24.75.
