PMO gave information
The PMO has issued a statement saying that the PM will inaugurate the prestigious week celebrations of the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Corporate Affairs at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on June 6, 2022 i.e. at around 10.30 am today. “The Prime Minister will also issue a special series of coins of Re 1, Rs 2, Rs 5, Rs 10 and Rs 20,” it said.

Why are these coins special?
Let us tell you that under the special series, these coins will have the logo of AKAM. The PMO statement said, “These special series of coins will have the theme of the logo of AKAM and visually impaired persons will also be easily recognizable.” This week is being celebrated as part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ (AKAM) from 6th to 11th June, 2022.
