There was a time when people had to stand in long queues to get railway tickets, but now you can easily book through the website and app of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC).

Railways gives the facility of railway booking to the passengers 4 months in advance, but sometimes we have to book even in case of emergency. In such a situation, many times a confirmed ticket (Railway Confirm Ticket) is not available. Such people book waiting tickets that may later change to Confirm or RAC.

For the convenience of the passengers, the Railways also provides this facility so that it can be known whether your ticket will be confirmed (Railway Confirm Ticket) or not. You just need to have a PNR number to find out how likely the passenger’s ticket is to be confirmed. So let’s know about this-

Know about the status of ticket confirmation through this process

1. For this, first of all visit the website of IRCTC.

2. Log in by entering your next ID and Password.

3. Next a page will open in front of you in which enter the PNR number.

4. After going down, you have to click on the Click Here to Get Confirmation Chance option.

5. After this a pop up window will open in front of you by clicking on which you can check the confirmation of ticket.

It is worth noting that recently IRCTC has made a big change in the rules of railway ticket booking . Earlier, 6 tickets could be booked in a month from non-Aadhaar linked account, which has now been increased to 12 tickets.

At the same time, the Aadhar link ticket has been increased from 12 to 24. In such a situation, you can link Aadhaar with IRCTC account up to 24 tickets in a month.
