Nitin Kamath, co-founder and CEO of Indian company online broking firm Zerodha, has given a new challenge to the employees of his company on Saturday. He has announced a new health initiative for all the employees of his company. Kamath has challenged all its employees to set daily activity targets on their fitness trackers. Along with this, the one who will meet this target by next year will be given an additional salary of one month as bonus along with a reward of Rs 10 lakh.
CEO Nitin Kamath has said in a LinkedIn post that we are making our team health conscious and hoping that everyone stays healthy. For this, we have kept a health challenge for all the employees. They say that given that most of us are working from home (WFH), this is leading to weight gain. Along with this, many types of diseases are making homes in people. In view of this, the decision of this challenge has been taken.

According to Nitin Kamath, the employee who meets 90% of his daily target by next year, will be given a bigger bonus. One month extra salary will be given as bonus. Along with this, a lucky draw of Rs 10 lakh will also be taken out to increase the motivation among the employees of the company. Kamath said in his post that our new fitness challenge at Zerodha is to provide the option to set daily activity goals on our fitness trackers.
