Petroleum companies have updated it in the LPG Gas Cylinder booking software. That is, from now on only LPG Gas Cylinder will be available under the new system. 

Amidst the rising prices of petrol and diesel including LPG Gas Cylinder, the Central Government has prepared another new guideline for the consumers. The government has decided to rationing LPG Gas Cylinder. According to the new rule, now the consumer will not be able to take more than 15 LPG Gas Cylinder in a year.

According to the information, now no consumer will get more than 15 gas cylinders in a year. Of these 15 gas cylinders, 12 will be subsidized and 3 will be non-subsidised. Not only this, the government has also decided not to give more than 2 cylinders in a month.

According to the Ministry of Petroleum, the government had received feedback from petroleum companies supplying LPG gas cylinders that in the last few days suddenly people have started taking more LPG gas cylinders. When the information was gathered, it came to the fore that after buying domestic gas cylinders, it is being sold by refilling it in small cylinders because commercial cylinders are becoming increasingly expensive. To curb this, the government has taken this decision.

Let us tell you that till now the consumer could take any number of gas cylinders i.e. there was no maximum limit, but now the government has made a big change in it. The government has implemented the new rule of rationing of LPG Gas Cylinder, after which the petroleum companies have updated it in the LPG Gas Cylinder booking software. That is, from now on only LPG Gas Cylinder will be available under the new system.

However, the government has given an exemption in the new rule that if a consumer actually needs more cylinders after 15 cylinders, then he will have to tell the real reason for this to the petroleum company and then the company will decide on his actual requirement and give him additional cylinders. Amit Kumar, Senior Manager (LPG) Sales of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited Gwalior Division, while talking to MP Breaking News said that if domestic gas cylinder is used for commercial then it is illegal and for that in section 3/7 of IPC. There is a provision for punishment. He said that if the administration helps in this then it can be stopped.
