Tips to identify wrong numbers given by SBI

  • If the call or message comes from the mobile number, then it may be a wrong number, as it is not an official ID.
  • If a call comes from a random number and is asked to take immediate action, it can also be a fraud number.
  • Even if urgent action is called for, it can still be a case of fraud.
  • Even if there is a spelling and grammatical mistake in the message, it can be a case of fraud.

In such a situation, people are advised that if they get a call or message from any unknown number, then first check about its veracity. Take any action only after this, otherwise money may disappear from your account.
